Who we are|
Twin City Surplus is about people.
It's been a very unique store from its inception in 1963.
And now, three generations later, I find it a challenge to try and describe our store in the small space allotted here.
As we take this giant step into the next millennium and enter the World Wide Web and what has now become known as the "Internet",
I want to take you on a short trip through Twin City Surplus.
Our store is located in Reno, Nevada and has been since 1963.
It was started by Byron Sliter and is today run by Byron's son Larry and Larry's children Shawn and Brandi.
The store and storage yards cover about 3.5 acres and are filled with 100's & 1000's of assorted items for your outdoor work and play.
We carry not just Military Surplus items like gas masks and fatigues, but commercial close-outs like storage drums to paint, rope and one of the largest selections of new netting on the west coast.
Inside, as you walk through our store, you'll find a huge selection of work clothes, boots, and camping gear, like tents and sleeping bags, river rafts and camp stoves.
One of the Largest Selections of Carhartt ™ Rugged Outdoor Wear, from bib overalls & jackets to flannel shirts exists here at Twin City Surplus.
